What the AACSB accreditation means to you
Sasin is now Thailand's first and only business school accredited by AACSB International. But what does it mean to Sasin and you?
AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.
Less than one third of U.S. business schools and only 5 percent of business schools worldwide meet the rigorous standards of AACSB International accreditation. AACSB accreditation to Sasin means wider and higher recognition for all the current students and alumni.
To achieve this accreditation, business programs must satisfy the expectations of a wide range of quality standards relating to strategic management of resources, interactions of faculty and students in the educational process and achievement of learning goals in degree programs.
AACSB was founded in 1916 by a consortium of business schools, including Harvard University, the University of Chicago, and Northwestern University. It is an association of educational institutions, businesses and other organizations devoted to the advancement of management education. It is also the premier accreding agency and service organization for business schools and accounting programs worldwide.
